This past Easter, I released a simple way to reinforce Christ during that holiday. That idea really sprang out of my heart for Christmas in our home.

In our home, I really try and celebrate Christ all year long, infusing him into everything. But, for Christmas, I really wanted a simple holiday countdown that I could use to point who Jesus really is while reinforcing the excitement of the day.

My first draft was 5 days long. This year, I’ve expanded it to 7 days. For my small littles, who are 4 and 1 and a half years old at the time of this post, it’s just right.

Do the whole thing, or pick up from wherever you choose. The point is not to finish, it’s to get to know the Savior.

It’s really simple. Just print (two-sided), read, and hang to count down the last few days to Christmas. For an idea on how to display it, check out my easter post here.

My hope is that both you and your family will find this resource easy, and just what you need to keep Jesus at the center of your holiday celebration.

Remember- It doesn’t matter where you start, on day 7 or day 2, because any place is a great place to help your kiddos get to know the person of Jesus as our greatest gift at Christmas.

Happy Birthday, Jesus =) and Merry Christmas Yall!
