Build & Battle

Pull Quote Graphic (See Caption)

Nehemiah’s call was to repair what He did not destroy, but instead merely inherited.

It was a battle passed down by previous generations, yet with His eyes fixed on God, He summoned the strength to complete the task with a sword in one hand and a spackle in the other.

God sees you fighting to become free while building from the rubble.

He sees you fighting to stand upright in integrity in a full-out war to keep going, and doing it while overcoming adversaries, discouragement, low manpower & resources, and in spite of the gargantuan task before you.

But He has called you friend. You. And you are the only one that can break through so the next generation can begin again.

And love, that next-generation 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪.

You are not just fighting for the future. You’re fighting for wholeness RIGHT NOW.

Nehemiah didn’t start a project that others got to finish. He got to see it all the way through.

He saw the wall completed with His own eyes and by His hands. He also was able to see the impact of its fruit as he saw the people turn back to God and return home to worship (see Ezra).

This is for you AND those to come.

God sees you building something new, fighting for freedom while trying to get free yourself.

So this is your message- Keep going.

Don’t you dare quit.

Cry it out.
Find help.
Stay connected to the right support and community to drown out negative voices who would love to distract and derail you.
Fix your eyes on Jesus.

Recognize rest as resistance to the idea that you are God and must do it all, instead of learning to rely on your relationship with Him
—which is by the way, irrevocably sealed until the day of His return no matter what. ❤️

Keep going.
Keep digging.
Keep standing.

Because my love , you are equipped with everything you need to win (2 Pet 1:3, Heb 13:20-21), so long as you just keep walking, one tiny but valuable step at a time
